The designation of the Old Georgia Route 3, from Albany, Georgia south through Radium Springs, River Bend, Baconton, Camilla, Pelham, Meigs, Ochlocknee to Thomasville as Southwest Georgia’s Historic Scenic Byway.

The economic impact along this 62 mile Byway through tourism will foster a regional development of much needed capital investment for small and medium size businesses such as: Restaurants Lodging: B&B’s & Boutique Inns Visitors Attractions Semi-annual 60 mile Yard Sale Seasonal Festivals Ascertaining grant funding available to participating communities for redevelopment.

Corporate involvement along the corridor is encouraged and participation will strengthen the collaboration efforts of private-public partnership investments along the route.
